Dr. Pragna Rao

Dr. Pragna Rao, has had more than 40 years of academic and administrative experience. She has been the  former Pro Vice Chancellor, MAHE Bengaluru campus and the former Dean of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal . Her keen interest and training in. medical education ensured her the position of Professor and HOD of the Medical Education unit at KMC Manipal. where she spearheaded several workshops for faculty and students. As a Nehru Fulbright Scholar, she has visited a large number of universities in USA to study the academic administration processes. As a GSMC FAIMER Fellow 2010 and with an International Fellowship in Medical Education (IFME) her expertise in medical education lead her to create an online content platform for the pre clinical medical undergraduates. Her lifelong dedication to advancing medical education and leadership continues to inspire and shape future generations of healthcare professionals.
